“Break the Barriers-Inside Stories of Ethnic Minority Muslim Girls in Hong Kong”, is a collection of essay by 8 minority Muslim women, the participants of the project “Train-the-Trainers: Minority Girls and Gender Justice “initiated by CUHK. This anthology comprises of stories of their own experience with reflection on topics like education, honour, marriage and faith. These stories reveal their power and persistence to break the gender and religious stereotypes imposed by the society when pursuing their dreams. 3 contributors of the book will be joining us at the event.
