Detail:
You are cordially invited to join the Annual Gender Roles Workshop organized by Gender Research Centre*, Hong Kong Institute of Asia-Pacific Studies, The Chinese University of Hong Kong on 30 June 2018. The theme this year is “Sexual Harassment in Institutions”. The workshop is organized to provide a platform for citizens, social service providers, government officials, and academics to share their views. The workshop is free and open to the public.
Sexual harassment is a serious but long neglected issue. Although the number of institutions with anti-sexual harassment policy has increased substantially in recent years, many educational and non-governmental institutions still face substantial difficulties in preventing and handling sexual harassment cases. We hope this workshop will help increase public awareness toward the sexual harassment issue, and promote measures in preventing sexual harassment in various settings.
