Research on Technology, Dating, and Abuse Among Young People

In-depth Interview Participant Recruitment

The Gender Research Centre, the Hong Kong Institute of Asia-Pacific Studies of The Chinese University of Hong Kongis launching a research project to examine young people’s experience of dating abuse in the cyber world in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and mainland China. The research partners in Taiwan and mainland China are National Tsing-Hua University and Beijing Normal University respectively.

Share your thoughts with us if 1) you are between 18 and 35 years of age and 2) you have ever experienced cyber dating abuse. To promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, individuals with or without any prior dating experiences, individuals of any gender, sexual orientations and ethnicities are welcome to join the research and share your views with us!

[Participants will be invited to one-to-one in-depth interview. Each participant will receive a HKD$200 cash voucher after completing the interview. Data collected will be used for research purposes only. Anonymity of participants and confidentiality of data will be guaranteed.]
