Since 1991, the Gender Research Centre (GRC) organizes annual workshop with different topics every year. It serves to provide a forum for academics, policymakers, NGO representatives, women’s groups and other members of the public to engage in dialogues on gender issues.

This year, GRC co-organized the annual workshop with our new School of Law at CUHK. The theme for this year is “Domestic Violence and Law: Women’s Perspectives”, in which we aim to explore the current status of the law and enforcement related to domestic violence in Hong Kong, and to discuss how to improve the situation.
