Prof. Susanne Choi Receives General Research Fund Grant for Comparative Study on Gender, Power, and Online Sexual Harassment

The Gender Research Centre extends its warmest congratulations to Prof. Susanne Choi, Co-Director of the Centre, on being awarded a General Research Fund (GRF) grant from the Hong Kong Research Grants Council. Her funded project, titled “Gender, Power, and Online Sexual Harassment: A Comparative Study of Four Cities in East Asia,” will investigate the intersections of gender, technology, and digital forms of sexual violence.This groundbreaking study examines how online sexual harassment manifests across different cultural and urban contexts, offering important insights into power dynamics in the digital era.
